Jason
I sent the bank(oc) a investigation request. Their records do not match mine.I made payments on a loan. On certain payments I made they did not credit the loan.Example I gave them 700.00 and they credit my account for 300.00another month I paid them and the same thing happened.I never realized it until they gave me their records. I have proof of my payments. The loan is paid off now for quite some time now.I will ask them for the exact amount they owe me and show them proof. Do I ask for interest on this? willingtocope
I'm gonna guess that your idea of proof also doesn't match theirs. I'm thinking you're going to need a lawyer involved to even get your overpayment back. Most loan agreements with banks have provisions for "clerical errors" on their part, for which they'll take no responsiblity and you have no recourse except to maybe get your money back...if you can prove it to their satisfaction. Jason
My proof is Western Union receipts wired directly to the bank.PS. My other proof is the bank records given to me by the VP of the bank.
willingtocope
Then I'd suggest you take your proof and go talk to the VP in person. I seriously doubt you'll be able to charge them interest, but, you might get your money back.
