30 times 90 days late

Recommended Posts

hi everybody,i have a account with cap1 i disputed with the cra that came back verfied,so im looking this over and notice that cap1 is reporting 90 days late 30 times, now they have date of last payment of june 2001.this i totaly wrong if cap1 can only report neg info for 7 years correct?this account should drop off in june 2008 right?i got my real fico scores and on my eq score this is really hurting my score on credit at a glance it shows 32 late payments.

my ficos

tu 696

ex 645

eq 591

my fakeos

tu 661

ex 548

eq 576

should i redispute the because of the lates? thank bigdebt

when was the DOFD - date of first delinquency?

Are the lates accurate?

Cap1 tends to keep you "late". For example - if you were 30 days late in March, and never pay again, it'll say 30 days in March/60 days in April/90 days in May/120 in June/120 July /120 August. NOte the 120 in July and August is just updating the status to reflect the true accuracy of the account. Is your situation similar?

amerikaner83 the amount of debt was 609 but past due is 1632,i have never heard from cap1 or paid on this since 6/2001,the sol in ma is 6 years.

im thinking that the 7 years to report this is up this june which is 3 months away so if they can report neg info for 7 years 27 of the 30 lates are more than 7 years old and are to old to report.if i get rid of these i would only have a total of 2 lates on my fico report as you can see my eq fico score is way below my other scores, allso since i dispute this account back in jan 08 and cap1 verified they are purposely reporting info more than 7 years old to hurt my credit thanks

I would be watching the mail or checking the courts for the next couple of months if I were you. Too many a time has someone thought they were in the clear of a debt only to find out that a suit was filed against them at the last minute for the accounts.
