debtorshusband
I'm confused on who to call. Should I call the dept number of the judge? Is that the clerk? If I go to the court house, do I go to the department? The "department" is just another term for a particular judge and his courtroom. In one department, a judge in his courtroom might deal with traffic citations, another with family law/child custody issues, an another with collection cases. The courthouse has only one clerk's office that's where you want to go.DH
