Phone calls only, nothing in writing

Are they reporting on your CRAs?

You can (a) ignore the calls or (B) send them a brief DV (something to the effect of, "I have received your messages but to my knowledge have no business with your firm. Please send me written information regarding the purpose of your call.")

You could also call and ask them to send you a letter as to what they are trying to contact you about. After the first initial contact they have 5 days to do so According to the FDCPA

If you do don't give them any information or let them talk you into anything.

If you have not actually talked to them and/or if their "messages" are very generic (meaning nothing of substance was revealed) then the "Five Day Rule" doesn't apply, yet.

Personally, I'd advise you to ignor their calls unless they are being reflected on you credit repors (in which case you can use the suggestions given previously).
