dinomosin
I owe $16.39 on my home depot card and my minimum payment is $10. Is it really at all helpful to just pay the $10 minimum so I can keep a balance.Home Depot doesn't have an auto pay option so I always worry that something will happen to me and I might be late on a 6$ payment. lovebug5
Why would you carry a $6 balance? PIF that balance off...That $6.00 isn't going to help you at all...
Fizzle1979
I say pay it in full. But I dont like paying interest either.
jq26
Pay it down. In my three years of experience, I have never found any scoring advantage to carrying balances. Seems FICO likes USE of the card but is indifferent on carrying a balance. So, pay the thing off. They'll hit you up for the $1 or $1.50 minimum interest payment. With such a small balance ($6), that is equal to 300% interest on that balance. Just PIF.
