LorenaMarie
Okay, I DV'd a CA regarding a debt that we are unaware of. It states on the CR that it's a collection acct with last update of 10/2006. It also says this item will be removed on 6/2013. It says the original creditor is "12 Collection Company of America". Debt is $103.00. We know of NO debt for this amount, nor have we ever been contacted regarding this amount by anyone. So, I DV'd (CMRRR) to the address listed on the credit report. Today, I received the letter back unopened. There is a little yellow label on the letter that says, "Return To Sender, Not Deliverable as Addressed, Unable To Forward".So what now? Is this grounds for getting it deleted from my CR? Or do I have to continue trying to locate this CA??
lovebug5
Contact the reporting CRA's, inform them that you've tried to contact the CA but the address that you have been supplied with is invalid, and that you'd like an updated contact address for them. isislc
If they won't give you any updated address info, there is a link at the top of the page with possible solutions to finding their address.
