Hello Forum,

I'm negotiating a settlement with an attorney representing a CA. The case has been before the court three times, and we haven't reached a settlement. The sticking point: The CA attorney states that they cannot negotiate a deletion on the CR. When I call the CA, they refer all questions to the attorney. How do I deal with this loophole? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If you're trying to settle for less than the full amount, it is very doubtful you will get a deletion out of that. You might look into a non-disclosure agreement. I think you would have to pay it off in full though before they would buy into it.
