rucsac
I had an old HSBC account that was charged off. It went to Midland Credit. This all happened back in 2002. I paid it off and thought so be it.When I started this clean credit endeavor I realized both were listed on my Eq report. So I called last week and started a dispute. Today I get a score alert notice. My score has gone up 21 points due to the activity on the HSBC account. Can someone please explain this? Because right now I am ready to make all my old accounts active if they will all give me 21 point boost. I would be at 800 by end of week. Fizzle1979
Maybe the changed it to something like "closed by consumer, never late" I had an old capital one card do this, even though it was really a charge off.
