chachke
As a potential first time homebuyer, I was wondering what kinds of expert advice and services I need to arrange for and when it is appropriate to do so...for example, I've found a great mortgage broker on my own and I am in the process of hopefully (fingers crossed) getting a pre-approval or more importantly when do I need to find my own realtor and how do I go about finding the best one for me? Do I also need to secure an attorney to help me through the legal paperwork and to be with me at the closing or is that an optional thing? If not optional, how to I go about finding one and any idea what kind of expenses am I looking at here (ballpark)?
swirlgirl
See if there is a first time home buyers course in your area. Usually, you can find them thru the FHA or other type places. This class should teach you all the ins and outs of buying a home.
