AmaGuy
I defaulted on a student loan. They garnished me and it is fully paid back. What are the future consequences of this default? Can I still get federal student grants or loans (I am asking since I have since went back to school) Thanks
Amerikaner83
your financial aid office would have the best answer for you.Since it's paid though, it wouldn't hurt you as much as if it wasn't. I'm pretty sure you can still get grants and loans and such... It (the Default) will remian on your CRs for awhile longer, though.
Cynic
A paid, previously defaulted loan does not disqualify you from financial aid.
