Flyingifr
You can teach your mother to stop being a lady and tell them to go F*#% themselves.
Bigwoodystyl
Don't worry. If you don't plan to pay and you never call them back, the calls will soon stop...

BIgWoody is right. Eventually BofA will stop calling....and then all the nice collection agencies that you read about here will start calling her. You're best bet is to call BOA and give them your current contact info and spare your mother any more harassment. Failing that, it would be up to her to file complaints and mail C&D's to BOA to keep them from bothering her. IF BOA still has the account in-house, the time is now for you to deal with it. If you don't and it goes to collections, then your mother, since that's the only contact info they have to work with, is going to have to go thru the whole thing all over again. bubbaboo
I agree. Tell BOA where they can contact you. If you can settle, they have been known to settle for 33% just before chargeoff. Thats not a bad deal. And, they send their accounts to NCO and Mann Bracken, among others. Better to deal now with BOA if you can.
