QMAX21
HI everybody,Recently I've had a judgement removed from my Transunion credit report but it is still present on Equifax and Experian. Here is the rundown of my court caseActivity Date: 7/23/2002 Participant: PREVIOUS JOB STRIKE FROM THE CALL - ALLOWED - Date: 7/23/2002 Judge: BETAR, SAMUEL J. III Microfilm: MD Activity Date: 10/24/2002 Participant: QMAX SATISFACTION (OR RELEASE) OF JUDGMENT FILED Judge: MCDUNN, SUSAN J. Microfilm: MDActivity Date: 10/24/2002 Participant: QMAX VACATE JUDGMENT/DISMISSAL - ALLOWED Date: 11/29/2001 Judge: MCDUNN, SUSAN J. Microfilm: MDActivity Date: 10/24/2002 Participant: QMAX DISMISS BY STIPULATION OR AGREEMENT Judge: MCDUNN, SUSAN J. Microfilm: MDAs you can clearly see THIS JUDGMENT WAS VACATED AND DISMISSAL WAS ALLOWED. Equifax and Experian is reporting this as a "satisfied judgement" I believe this is horribly wrong and when I disputed this with them THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY INVESTIGATED IT AND DID A VERIFICATION OF THE DOCUMENTS PRESENT.I know I'm not stupid and I know that "dismiss by stipulation or agreement" doesn't constitute as any such thing as "satisified Judgment" to my knowledge. Someone educate me if I'm missing something here. It seems like transunion is the only competent CRA who immediately deleted this. Should I just go through with filing suit or should I just send a follow up letter. I MEAN THIS IS BLANTENT VIOLATION OF THE FCRA AND THESE KNUCKLEHEADS DIDN'T EVEN SPEND A SECOND VERIFYING THE INFORMATION PRESENT. I need this off my Credit report asap and I really don't want to go ahead and keep sending letters. comments suggestions welcomed.
QMAX21
Whew Hew! Now the this same judgment has also been removed on 2 out of the 3 Credit Bureaus! The only one's left with it on is Equifax, which is typical! Thankfully through truecredit.com the dispute process is simple and easy to do. I get unlimted disputes. So far so good with removing judgments. 2 down 1 to go!

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but if everything is as they present it in the credit files that means all judgments have been removed from my credit reports from all 3 agencies! admin
Your only choice is to file a lawsuit and have them served (and collect $1000 from each on the way). That's probably the only way they will pay attention.

That's probably the only way they will pay attention.I agree, if they don't remove it I will be forced to do so. Their investigative staff is horrendous. Both Experian and Transunion removed the judgment within 2 days of receiving the dispute but these guys love being stubborn. Last year I had to file a BBB complaint against them for trying to stretch the 30 day investigative period to 45 days by fasely claiming that they didn't have enough information from me see here:http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272098Equifax is downright dirty. Ever since that letter they've never done this with me again though! So I guess their act is getting better.
admin
Yeah, I think I need to go fight a reinsertion by them again as well, my ever-appearing tax lien by Mr. Christian Sung.

Today I got a new confirmation number on my dispute and lo and behold I can't view the results for some strange reason. So now EQU is giving out confirmation numbers that don't work for disputes now! Go figure.

QMAX21
if my letters dont have an effect then thats what ill do. call em lol thanks and congrats!Yes, that would be the best way it seems particularly with the boneheads at Equifax. Whether you realize it or not, sometimes they wait for you to keep on their butts particularly with judgements. Usually if they have to investigate them, they have to get the court documents and if the other CRAs requested them before they do most of the time they just verify it as being accurate.Sucks but I'm a living witness to this.If you want an easy suit dispute w/o sending them the documentation and see if they actually investigate as they are supposed to by law. You'll be surprised by what you will find. Imagine showing up to court and saying hey, here are the documents and these guys didn't even attempt to do an investigation. EQU actually asked me to send in the documents and I refused and told them, hey all you have to do is call the courthouse, it's that simple and once they did, viola the judgment was taken off. I shouldn't have to spend the little money I have to cover for their boneheadness by waisting it on extra postage.
