seldakim1
I tried negotiating 50% of my debt with paragon way via telephone and they said they would send a letter stating they would accept the payment and delete from credit reports. They wanted me to pay by 5/31/08 but I told them I need a letter b4 then. Well their letter came 6/3/08 and I just checked credit bureaus and they're not reporting me. Do I call them now or send them a letter stating they sent their letter late and now I want them to sign my letter of "compromising the debt" ? Also, if they're not reporting me do I still put a pfd clause on the letter? Does that make sense? Thanks
LeslieR
Ummm so my understanding of this is that you now want to back out of your payment agreement because you found out they already deleted from your credit reports???So they deleted before you received your letter promising they would delete. So what? That doesn't change your payment arrangement with them.I don't really get what your question is or why you would change your plan to pay at this point. I don't know what a "compromising the debt" letter is. You got a letter from them promising to to delete, and now they've deleted. Just send your payment and make sure you keep their letter in case the TL gets reinserted at any point in the future. The end.
