kattman
Okay so I have a CA on my CR that is past the SOL here in Texas, but not old enough for it to drop off of my CR. I sent them a DV (stating no knowledge of account) and I just received notice that my CR has been updated to show that the item is in dispute. The CA is Palisades and from everything I've read on here I fully expect them to respond with its your debt, but with little to no real verification. If that happens what do I do next?

kattman
Good News. Pallisades removed the TL from all three CRA, woohoo! I haven't received a letter from them at all, but all my CRs show it has been deleted.I'm guessing they will probably sell it off to someone else. Is that usually the case? If so I just dispute again and repeat the process? Thanks,Matt

kattman
It was only about three weeks after I sent the DV.
