This is a great program for 1st time buyers. You don't have to be one to qualify. Rural housing doesn't mean you have to live in the sticks. Most of you have probably heard of Myrtle Beach, SC. It is pretty populated. You can get a USDA loan there if you drive about 15 minutes. I will be happy to answer any questions, but odds are you have a USDA office near you. No, I don't work for them. It is the only 100% program I have outside of the VA.If you live in a rural area, check out the USDA. 100% financing with no mortgage insurance. There is a 2% fee, but it can be financed. Get the seller to pay closing cost and your in.Go to their site to search for property eligibility - put in an address. Also check income limits for your area (you can't make too much).http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do580 score or better should work. 620 or better and credit isn't an issue.
