BleekJohnson
Good afternoon all:I'm at a crossroads here in my work with Transunion and Experian. For some reason, I've had an easier time with Equifax....Here's the issue:I've written to both TU and Experian asking them to provide me with their method of verification.I've sent letters to the OC asking them to verify the information that they are submitting and none of them responded to me. In one instance, the address provided by Transunion of one OC came back as a bad address and couldn't be forwarded.Basically, Transunion sent a letter saying that they weren't going to investigate because they investigated these items before. Mind you, I didn't ask for an investigation, I asked for them to provide me with their method of verification. I called TU and brought this to their attention...and the customer service rep just fed me the script.Experian just didn't respond at all...they just said that all credit lines are verified...even though they didn't say how.So....what's the next best possible move. Another letter or do I go straight to small claims court?
Macattack
I hope you did all of this via certified mail. If so, I would start by notifying the BBB and your state AG of your complaints.
torikid
First of all, I have never had a CRA actually respond to MOV. I found it to be a waste of time. If the information is incorrect, you have a letter from the bureaus stating that the information was verified, then you have the right to request an investigation from the OC. As Mackattack stated, I hope that the letters you sent the OC was CMRRR. If not, start that. Because they have verified with the bureaus, now they have to answer to you or you can sue them. Build your case as previously stated wtih the BBB, FTC, and AG. Depending on the OC, they often comeback and actually do something in these steps without being sued. If not, your case to sue is much stronger.
