nah nah nah nah! Hey hey, GOODBYE!

AFNI ::BigGun::

After fighting these jerks for almost 6 months, I caved and sent an ITS letter which they recieved last Wednesday. Today, gone from TU and EQ. Just have to wait on them to clear off my xxHellxx report... I mean EX report.

So happy! No more derogatory TLs. :multibounce:

Congrats!!! And I didn't know that AFNI had a pronounciation - i just called it by it's initials. I was glad when they were gone from my reports!

I think maybe the newspaper writer was off. Cause AFNI stands for Anderson Fin Networks Incorporated. At least that's how my lawyer told me to draft my ITS. :)

Good news for those dealing with AFNI. I'm in MN and the Attorney General filed a Class Action lawsuit against~ they're in deep doo doo.

Oh, good. We sent in one last week and one today about them. Of course, one last year.

Goody goody two shoes... As you can see, I AM in MN. LOL

Ummmm I would be very careful about sending ITS letters. Steve, you've posted in several places that you are unhappy with Afni and want them off your reports. But I haven't seen the post (it may be out there - I've just missed it) where you've explained why (beyond just wanting it gone ;)).

What basis would you have for suing?

It is very important that you put careful thought and consideration into an ITS letter. Do not send an ITS simply because you are angry and want attention. They must be used very carefully and judiciously, and only when you are 100% prepared to follow through with your threats.

they are saying i had a sprint cell phone account and it was never paid. $686 is what they say i owe them and when i did my online dispute they said it was verified (with experian) .

But the funny thing is i have never had a sprint account in my life. this was opened july 2007 and ive been with T-mobile for 4 years now.

Im positive this is part of my stolen identity and am having a hard time getting it removed. I'm not going to send the letter out just yet. I'm going to exhaust all means to get this resolved. but when or if nothing happens. i will sue them.

Did you file a police report? A fraud affidavit with Sprint? Sending both documents to Sprint will solve the problem without a lawsuit.
