wdspeedbump
clinical depression is a debilitating disease and doesn't care how much money you have, or how great a job you have. if this man is truly in a depressive state, the eagles are wrong to fine him. not to mention pretty d*** callous. momof5
Jasen,If he had pnuemonia would they be OK paying him? I remember one day sitting at my computer at work, just staring at the thing. I simply could NOT function. I called HR and talked to a lady there. Did what I needed to do and got on anti-depressants. It is hard to fathom that it is real. You just CAN'T function. Most people just want to tell you to get over it. I didn't realize how bad it was for me until I got on the anti-depressants. Once on them, I was able to function again and to think properly. I not only functioned at work, I functioned at home - which means I realized my problem was going to be there until I did something about and then dumped the alkie/addict spouse.Mine was situational depression and I was able to go off the anti-depression medication eventually.
