Star Wars - The Clone Wars

Since the Cartoon Network rules my house, about the only commercials for the Clone Wars I have seen were cheesy. I just assumed that it was just a "make the movie and run" type where it would be a rip off and only intended for very little kids...

Then I saw the commercials for it on the Spike Network...

It now looks like such a cool movie....

I wasn't able to take my oldest son to see it this weekend so I will take him next weekend. But I just wanted to know what people thought of it and is it really a good tie-in to the rest of the movies...

I dunno...I liked the Cartoon Network version of the Clone Wars (Netflixed it some time back).

I sincerely believe this movie will be a piece of crap and I love Star Wars......I would be very surprised if this movie made blockbuster status.

Hopefully George Lucus will let someone else do the New Republic post-quels. He has seriously stopped being hungry, and when your belly is always full, you tend not to do the creative things that stopped you from being hungry in the first place. Happens with every high-paid athlete/artist/business person....(sigh...)
