J_Snow
Florida rocks!Everybody is taking the storm seriously. All Mobilization is in place. The one kind of iffy thing is that the school years started today... But not to fear. They are ready to postpone classes if needed for Tuesday and/or Wednesday..My Hope is that it hits way south and comes right up the middle of the penninsula. Not enough time to strengthen between Cuba and Florida. And she can do her worst down in the everglades... What we don't want to happen is the west track over the gulf with a turn into Tampa Bay. THAT would suck.Cheers to all the Florida boarders! Be safe kids!

mariner
I was surprised how much wind we got in Jupiter. My only casualty was my doorbell shorting out.
J_Snow
How about Fay becoming the first storm on record to INTENSIFY after making landfall... This thing is crazy!I'm flying back to Florida this evening, 1 day early. I didn't want to get stuck here if the stupid storm hangs around... momof5
Getting pounded now. Remember, even if it goes due west, the top of the storm reaches to South GA.
