I like her. I know people either think this was a stupid or really smart choice. I think it was smart. He waited until BO announced his vp to see if it would be HRC or not. I think atleast that part was smart. She wasn't the female I wanted in the white house though....... **sigh** **sniff sniff**

Oh yeah and she is totally hot.

So, i gather, the GOP Political stategists think that all those "stupid" women that were going to vote for Hillary are now going to vote for McClean just because he has a woman on his ticket. Nevermind what they each said/say they beleive in, just being a woman is enough.

Wow...its a good thing we don't discuss politics on the board here...

You're saying that it's the GOP that thinks the women that were voting for HRC were stupid right? I guess it is a good thing we don't discuss politics.

No, not me...I'm guessing the GOP thinks the Hillary women would vote for anything in a skirt. And, the "country club conservatives" wouldn't be put off if it happened to be a mini-skirt.

I can't remember who it was that said it, but, "Nobody ever lost an election by overestimating the stupidity of the american electorate."

I think you are right, I think that is their motive. And the sad part is that for some it will work. I like the chick though. She seems like a pretty down to earth lady and all that.

:ROFLMAO2: Vindictive is more like it. She fired the Chief of the State Police because he wouldn't fire her brother-in-law who was a State Trooper when him and her sister were going through a nasty divorce and custody battle.

That's a rumor.........8-)8-) (the actual fact, yes, that she did it cause she was angry, who knows?)

I still say vindictive. And, to my knowledge anyway, she hasn't been through menopause yet, so once a month I'm going to be scared she's going to try to push the little red button. blowup.gif

Well, maybe she has. I just looked at her Wikipedia page. Still, the thought scares me.

Actually the more I read about her the more I like her. Obama has a history of not following through on his promises, is still a politician and his charisma reminds me of public brainwashing done by past dictators.

Palin doesn't back down...not even from her own party. She has a 80 percent approval rating, took on Alaska big oil co. Is a member of the NRA, hunts herself and won't try banning the second amendment or changing it like Clinton tried to do.

she has a son overseas and knows what military families encounter. She has a handicapped child and knows what families like mine go through.

She can even fly her own plane.

I didn't like either candidate until I read her bio. McCain has taken a gamble and this election will either yield the nations first black president who has a Muslim heritage or the first female VP.

The only candidate I like more than here is Allen Keys...he's a black man btw. I also know Keys has no chance of winning is on a new independent party ticket that no one has heard of.

So, yes...my vote will go to McCain/Palin. They will preserve the constitution as it should be, not cut deep into benefits for disabled and handicapped and will get our troops out of the middle east mess without leaving the door wide open for Bin Laden's terrorist to take another country over.

And there it is, a full fledged political scrawl.

And this thread had such promise, too.
