LeslieR
Have a question for you. Has anyone ever tried calling Hooters and asking to be removed from the magazine mailing list?? My first one came late last week and I was just horrified!!! There it was...in all its clear wrapped glory...in my mailbox. I am going to call this week, but wondered if anyone else had been successful. I know I can just throw it away, but I just don't want it. I wish Hooters would get on the paperless statements, too. stefdr
I wouldn't want to cancel the magazine, I read it primarily for the fascinating articles. Hehehe.I go to the restaurant just for the food, too.
Ravenous Wolf
How do you subscribe to that magazine and is it free???
LeslieR
Yes - it's a "perk" to cardholders.
Chester P. Dexter
Yes, just call the customer service number and tell them you don't wish to receive the magazine. They're probably a little embarrassed to work for a credit card company that sends out such a "perk" and they'll remove you from the list right away. Worked for me!Merrick seems to be in the stone ages, so I'm surprised they have such a good online account viewing and paying platform. But yeah, paperless statements would be good. You're not getting those bills sent to your university address, are you?
JustaTexan
Yeah I just left mine in the mailbox....lmao. I think the mailman takes it.......Sorry I couldn't be more helpful Les!
LeslieR
You're not getting those bills sent to your university address, are you? Why would I get personal mail at work? Thanks for the info. that they were open to your request! It's on my to-do list for today!
lovebug5
My wonderful magazine came in the mail yesterday, complete with a gaggle of bikini-clad women on the cover. Thankfully there was no one in my lobby to witness me eyeing the magazine through the plastic covering except for the security cameras, which I'm sure the developer of my building ignores anyways. If you have success in removing yourself, let me know. It's more of an eco-friendly thing for me. The magazine goes straight into the garbage!
LeslieR
Yeah, I feel the same way. It's just a huge waste all the way around. I throw so much mail in the trash/recyle bin already.

AboveAverage
You know...I haven't gotten my magazine yet. Even if the DF threw it away, she'd have told me about it. How long do they take to come after you get the card?

In my pubescent years, I'd been happy with National Geographic African tribal woman nudity.
