What do referrals mean on profile pages?

And while I am at it, what happens when you add somebody to your "buddy" or "ignore" list?

I don't know about "ignore" - but when you add someone as a buddy, it appears to do nothing. I added you and LB as buddies sometime ago and nothing changed, I don't get any type of "alerts" when you guys get online (so I can stalk you), etc. So not sure what that's all about.

If you put someone on your ignore list, then you are blocking any posts by that person. So, in a thread, there could be numerous responses. But the response from the blocked person will not appear. You would see their user name, but the actual post itself would be blank

So everybody else would see that post on that thread, but not you? Because you have "ignored" that person?

Hmmm wonder how many folks have my dorky ramblings ignored?:lol::lol::lol:

Okay no AOL. I am one of those crazy anti-AOL folks!

Anyhow-I found out a buddy list perk:

Look at your name and look at what is next to it!

Wow - you guys are weird.

Referrals are self explanatory. I have a friend, I tell this friend about CIC. he joins CIC and where noobs sign up there is a place for "did someone tell you about CIC? if so, type their name here!" type thing.

That's it.

8-)

Well aren't we in a mood? 8-) And for the record, I prefer "unique, not weird.":lol:
