Here's a little background....I purchased Myfico all 3 reports and scores last month. My Experian credidt score was 627. I disputed 4 neg TL's with EX. I have another post about it here http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289428

I purchased Experians plus monitoring and after reviewing the TL's I disputed I noticed that 2 of them are not there and the other 2 say's in dispute by subscriber. Also my EX score is 586. Now here are my questions.....

1. Does your score drop when neg TL are deleted from you report?

2. Is the subscriber ME? Just making sure.

3. Why havn't I still received anything in the mail regarding those deletions? What if I don't?

1. Sometimes. Your scores are based on ALL the data in your file at the time of the calculation. It may be that the additions you got from the History on the accounts outweighed the deductions for derogatory info.

2. No. The subscriber is the CRA's client, the Data Furnisher. The CRA's are just repositories of info supplied by their clients. Even though you disputed, the notation references them.

3. Dunno. Give it some time and then we'll see where to go from here.

I went to the FTC web site. Better reading there. Here's what I got from that...

If you disagree with the results of the investigation, you may write to the creditor, but you must act within 10 days after receiving the explanation, and you may indicate that you refuse to pay the disputed amount. . However, if the creditor reports you to a credit bureau as delinquent, the report also must state that

you don't think you owe the money. The creditor must tell you who gets these reports.

I especially like this part: At this point, the creditor may begin collection procedures

Their SOL because it's SOL.

My FICO scores are all in the mid 600s, but the scores that the bureaus are showing are about 100 points less. The two are not only different, they appear to be in no way even similar.

I'm currently buying a house, and asked the mortgage chick which score they use, the bureaus' scores or FICO scores. She didn't know the difference. She said they just pull my report and go with the score given. When she called and said that I was at 650, I then knew which one they use.

By the way, I also asked her what my interest rate would have been with a 750 or 800 score. She replied the same....6%.
