Rick9972
My other computer has picked up a virus. It will not let me access my Norton Antivirus, nor let it run. Any suggestions? It seems to have made it a zombie machine, from the way it runs when on.Thanks.
DHK
Download and run a copy of NOD32.www.eset.comI think this program is better than Norton, but you can get a "free trial" and run it to help you clean up your machine.

virginiabound
Do you have another 'program' running that looks like an AntiVirus telling you you have an outrageous amount of viruses detected? If so, you could just have malware and while it's a pain, it's easier to remove than a virus. scorch
Sounds like it disabled Norton. I was going to recommend Eset's online virus scan. http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/index.phpYou should also try running Spybot along with another anti spyware program if you haven't already. Then you can use CCleaner to clean the registry. Also, you should defrag your hard drive if you haven't done so in a while. Then you may want to do a backup.
