BBG
Hello everyone!I need advice on how to proceed. I am new to this so any info would be helpful. I pulled my credit report a while back noticed a negative report showing $5,063 from Bureau Credit Borger. Had no idea who they were so I sent a certified letter requesting validation and I also disputed with the Credit reporting agencies. No response from them. So I contact the BBB and they were able to get this Company to say the Original Creditor is The Pines Of Westbury Apartments. I contacted the apartments they asked me to send the proof of the letter recieved from their company stating the lease agreement was void before it even got started. I sent it to them. They are still however refusing to remove the listing. The manager said that was not their policy and it was not supposed to be done and they will not remove the listing. What can I do to have them remove the listing?
cap1kid
1. send the proof again certified mail to both The Pines and Burea Credit-2. check state law- if one party consent is allowable call them up explaining the situation and request immediate removal- record the conversation3. dispute with the credit reporting agency that has it listed- certified mail- copies etc.4. wait to see if debt is verified5. if deleted job done6. if not deleted contact lawyer or prepare to sue on your own- should be an easy case.
