how long the CA will take to remove all my info from their system? if I know this info and I dispute to the CR and they don't have anything on their database about me...that means I am on the clear? am I wrong?

thanks for any input,

Some companies may never purge your data and even if they do some will still verify it with the CRAs. I would google WhyChat Hippa - he/she seems like a very knowledgable person on getting med collections removed. There is a process that is preached.

I am a very persistent person, I'll try until I get something done!

But there's no reason to make a fool of yourself in the process. Sending letters like the ones mentioned above alert the debt collectors that you know absolutely nothing about what you're doing. The whychat stuff is the worst of the worst in terms of internet nonsense.

WhyChat seem to be working for people on other boards but I have not tried it so use at your own risk.

definitely, I don't want to make fool of myself...let's say I ask for verification to the CA and comeback verified and then what is the next thing to do. In my humble opinion, is hard to say "is not mine" and to make things worsts "is paid" and not to mention, I didn't have insurance at that time=I don't know if that helps any= I'd like to find a way to get deletion on the first time of dispute=like everybody else of course= :(

any extra advice?

I tried whychat's process also....without success.

The CA (in SC) is collecting for a physician in SC. They don't bother me here in FL. They have done nothing more than report to the CRAs. I tried whychat's method and got a DV which showed the docs office waited 2 years to bill ins or me! They included every bit of documentation.

I offered a PFD and that was refused. She offered a 30% discount but I would have a paid collection. Told her that it was SOL so I got a deletion or nothing! She didn't even know the SOL in SC was 3 years!

I tried the BBB and the Consumer Advocate office in SC to no avail. It rolls off this coming spring. Oh well.
