andres99pony
I know it is a vague title, but can you still dispute the TL if you don't have the acc#? It doesn't show all the # on the CR, and I don't have any more original paperwork on the account. Also, I think this same account has passed the SOL. You can refer to the TL the same way The CRAs do when making your dispute.

dizzyliz
I also had this problem with one of my so called debts. All I did was put the account # exactly like it appeared on my Credit Report. When the CA replied with a letter asking for the "nature of the dispute", the whole account # was listed on the letter. They obviously found it without a problem. As for sending the dispute and validation, I sent both of mine at the same time.
scorch
Well since it's it has passed the SOL, I believe you can dispute the hell out of it.
