Help with Experian

Lets just say, this is the CRA that is giving me the most issues. TU and Equifax have 2 and 3 baddies, Experian has 6. One was supposed to fall off 11/2008 and so far its not off, I disputed a while back, so when I try to dispute it says that they have already disputed this item and that it has been verified, and now my new report does not give a date for deletion.

When you go to their site the only way to dispute is online, does anyone know of any other ways to contact them? I would really like this item off, when it came off the other two it really made a nice jump and for some reason in the past day my score has dropped nearly 20 pts and I am not sure what caused it? Im thinking some disputes I have going on?

Any help would be great, I kind of wish i would have never touched experian my score was much higher before I started messing with things.

Never dispute online. Never do this! You will not have any written records of your dispute (the return receipt), plus, you are making it easy for them by disputing online. Your dispute will become a two letter code and will be sent (using eOscar) to an offshore computer for analysis. You will also not be able to dispute specific information within the listing, for instance, wrong high balance, wrong date account was opened, etc. You will not be able to send documentation. In addition, if your name, SSN or address is incorrect, you have to send your request in writing any way.

I have had the very same issue. I have 2 baddies that were both listed to be only on there "until November 2008" and they are both still there. I have sent a dispute letter with a copy of my old report that says "until November 2008" and have that part highlighted and said in my letter to please take note of my proof and am going to see what comes of that.

I have also done the exact same thing. Be prepared for them to send you back a generic letter that states " we were unable to use your supporting documents in your dispute" "the item remains and is updated" . That is what they did to me

So what is our next course of action? I mean, if it is suppose to be deleted and they refuse....... what do we do next?

Just an update:

After my nasty little letter to Experian with copies of my old credit reports showing that the two accounts I have been ticked off about should have fallen off a couple months ago, I got a letter back from them today.

It is a new copy of my credit report with both of them gone! However instead of saying deleted, it simply says that the disputed items are no longer on my credit report. I guess they got the idea that they should have already deleted them... oh well, I got what I wanted in the long run, even though I had to get a little nasty with them.

8-) That was the last of the baddies!!!

I just put a Freeze on Experian it cost me 5.00 but it is worth it... If enough of us Freeze them creditors will stop using them because they can not access the information. If a creditor will not check a different CRA then you do not want to do business with them Guilty by Association! lol Thant is my thought at least

I have tried to redispute a TL that i disputed in 07 and they still will not disput it...
