WantItBetterCredit
I recently completed a complaint with the AG office against Midland Credit. How long did it take before you heard a response back from the AG's office? I sent them a complete file via fax as it indicated I could. I haven't gotten a response that they have received such or that they are investigating the matter. I have the same concerns for the FTC complaint. The received complaint on the 6th (yesterday) and today he told me he had a message on his phone from Delaware Attny General's office but has not had time to return the call. I am assumming it is from the complaint.
Fairy Enchantress
For me it took a while for both the AG and the FTC. I can not recall the exact time frame but I would say probably 30 to 45 days. Once though, the AG got back with me quick, in about two weeks stating they received my complaint. (I have delt with the AG a few times.) I sent my letters all certified though. As CIC states it is an excellent method for tracking.
admin
Good job. It's up to the citizens to complain before the AG's office takes any of these companies seriously as a threat or in violation of the laws.
