dizzyliz
I have sent DV letters to companies that are not listed on my Credit Report. They have not responded to DV letters and calls have stopped. Is it worth it to send out DV Follow Letters to these companies that are not listed on my Credit Report? debtorshusband
Since they were not on your Credit Report, I presume you sent them DV letters because they were calling and/or sending dunning letters? If that is the case, at this point they are only doing what they are allowed. They are not required to respond, and if they have stopped calling, they are complying with the law that requires them to cease collection activity. It is my personal opinion not to send a 2nd letter. I don't see what it would accomplish. As things stand, one of two things will likely happen: One, after the passage of more time they will send you documents that either are sufficient validation or which they will claim are sufficient. Two, and more likely, the account will be given to another Collection Agency to start the process with you over again.I would just wait; the ball is in their court.DH
