andres99pony
I am currently in rehab of my student loans, payment #3 of 9. I have 8 negative Sallie Mae tradelines, 1 TL for ACS with whom I defaulted, and 1 TL from ASA whom is currently taking my payments. That is a total of 10 negative TL's.My question is, which of those will come off when I finish the rehab on my loans? I know some will remain, but is the ACS TL, or what? I hope the Sallie Mae ones do not remain!
thegame26
Unless I'm missing something...they'll be on your credit reports for 7 years from the date the your last payment....suddenly paying them isn't going to make them come off. andres99pony
Unless I'm missing something...THE REHAB PROGRAM FOR STUDENT LOANSI was under the impression that the tradelines will be returned to positive status, but is it the 8 SM's, 1 ACS, or 1 ASA? I hope it is the 8 SM's, and that I can dispute the ASA or ACS off.
LynnInMN
Upon completion of the rehab program, only the guarantors tradeline reflects positively. The lender/servicer is under no obligation to adjust their tradelines.

OMGWhatHaveIdone
If they are for the same account, then that would be duplicate TL's by the OC. I would think that the OP could dispute the TL's as being duplicates and have all but one removed? This is in regards to the 8 SM's only.
