BTO429
I have talked about having a couple state tax liens before. These liens were recalled by the state, they were reported in error. I sent a copy of the letter from the state to the CRA's all but Experian deleted them. I sent a copy of the letters from my state to EX and I just got a letter from them stating that the evidence I sent them was not enough to warrant a deletion by their criteria. They changed them to released. They are not released they were recalled.I think I will send an ITS letter for will full non compliance and financial injury. These liens have time and time again caused me to not get a mortgage. thomassl
I don't recall which CRA I had the same problem with regarding tax liens but I sent them the letter from the state as well. I kept hammering at them keeping detailed notes on who I talked to, what they said and what they are doing in regards to this issue. When I called them with such detailed information with names, dates, etc of their staff (even supervisors), it was removed! It wasn't necessary for me to threaten to sue them but I would have if it took too long!
