How can I have CRA's re-insert positive accounts recently removed from CR?

Recommended Posts

How can I get the credit bureaus to re-insert my positive accounts that were just removed from my credit report? I had two AM EX accounts that were closed since 1999, but in good standing. These were the only accounts left on the entire credit report and I was hoping that these accounts would remain to show some kind of credit history while I established new credit. Otherwise, my credit reports will show no history whatsoever.

As the consumer, you can't get CRA's to do much of anything. Tradelines are reported by client/subscribers, usually creditors. Positive TL's typically display for 10 years.

"...closed since 1999..."

Sounds like their time expired. Your only option is to add some new accounts to your CR.
