seekingadvice
How can I get the credit bureaus to re-insert my positive accounts that were just removed from my credit report? I had two AM EX accounts that were closed since 1999, but in good standing. These were the only accounts left on the entire credit report and I was hoping that these accounts would remain to show some kind of credit history while I established new credit. Otherwise, my credit reports will show no history whatsoever.
Ahntara
As the consumer, you can't get CRA's to do much of anything. Tradelines are reported by client/subscribers, usually creditors. Positive TL's typically display for 10 years."...closed since 1999..."Sounds like their time expired. Your only option is to add some new accounts to your CR. Ravenous Wolf
I have had to drop my shorts and bend over lots of times. In the course of many years, I have had plenty of positive accounts deleted and the CRAs say that they are never coming back (including a car loan that never had a late payment).
