bruce a
My wife is being sued and has to go talk about property in the court in about a month. She has never had a job. She doesn't have anything with her name on a title except our home which has no equity in it. Does she own anything we have if I paid for everything? Specifically, we have a family grand piano in question. Can it be siezed to pay off her personal medical debt? Or does she claim she doesn't have anything? swirlgirl
How much is the medical debt? Any insurance? I doubt they would cart off a piano in exchange for a debt.
bruce a
The debt is just over $4,000. She paid about $15,000 of the bill. Tried to negotiate payments and they said they would accept a payment of $4,000.
