Any of you have a Work Spouse?

Recommended Posts

Coworkers of mine have had "work spouse" relationships. However, IMHO, they are all but guaranteed to remain platonic. If you start schtupping your work spouse, I don't care how slick you think you are, everyone would notice the big change in the relationship. Heck, I've seen people who weren't work spouses that started schtupping, and everyone knew.

My first programming gig, I shared an office with a lady for about 6 years. She was old enough to be my Mom. I think I was only about 6 or 8 years older than her oldest kid. She probably was the closest thing to a work spouse I've had, but perhaps work Mom would be a more apt description.
