What kind of credit card is it? Is there a written agreement associated with the credit card? What kind of paperwork did you sign when you incurred the medical debt? It all factors in ... lordreyrey Posted March 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 The credit card was an old providian card i signed up for online, not sure there.As for the medical debt, It was a visit to a hospital where they take your id down and have you sign the standard they can treat you paperwork. Except as otherwise provided in this section, an action against a person to recover payment for any amount owed to a hospital for hospital care provided to the person at the hospital must be commenced not later than 4 years after the date on which any payment that is due for the services is not paid.
