oompaloompa
OK- this relates to an account with a County Government as the creditor. A person at the County informed me that she posted a "universal delete" into the E-Oscar system on their end. I've done some research, and apparently this is not an instantaneous process...more like 3-5 days. Does anybody know what I am talking about here and can advise realistically when it will hit the credit report? Does it matter this is a government agency? Bear in mind this is not a dispute or rapid-rescore we are talking about here. Is there any way to accelerate the update on the Bureau end? Money is not an object (within reason). cjtx
After information is sent through E-Oscar, the CRAs have to process it and update their records. It can take anywhere from a few days to 60 days. There is no real incentive for CRAs to act quickly, especially on a universal delete of a derogatory TL because they make money out of selling reports with derogatories to subprime lenders, so some CRAs sometimes drag their feet.
