bingo
The money you paid into your plan will not be returned if that's what you're asking. It's been distributed to your creditors. You may use federal exemptions in Pa.http://www.pennsylvania-bankruptcy.com/fed.htmlAs to what to expect- a lot depends on why you filed a 13 as opposed to a 7 in the first place. jq26
susan, I am in PA. The state exemptions you see are correct. You can choose between state and federal. The only reason you would use the state exemption system is that you could exempt all property held as tenants by the entirety (husband and wife). For most Chapter 7 filers, they choose the federal exemption schedule unless they own property titled as tenants by the entirety with equity. Bingo is correct. The cash paid to the trustee went towards you're accrued debt, both secured and unsecured.
