ADR/Alternative Dispute Resolution (Workflow)

Recommended Posts

I have been monitoring my courts website and have notice that Midland has been filing alot of cases ,but most of them are in pending status with ADR/Alternative Dispute Resolution (Workflow) noted. What does this mean ? It looks like a letter has been sent instead of each defendant being served. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi :)++ fellow Carolinian :)

I too was confused when I first saw that. ADR is Arbitration. The "filing" you see means the plaintiff has filed. When the defendant is served, you will see "affidavit of service on xxxxx". They're not sending a letter unless the plaintiff is trying to serve through certified mail.

So how is your case/cases going? You've been at this site longer than I have. Are you still batteling? have they won? case dismissed?
