Moog
Sending out a DV letter tomorrow. I have read that signatures can be lifted or forged by some JDB's. Should I sign the letter or is having my name typed out beneath the signature sufficient enough for the letter to be legally binding?
jetscarbie
I never sign mine. I haven't had any problems.
Robert Nashville/Savannah
If you are sending out a real, printed letter by hand, yes...sign it.Almost anybody can do almost anything with today's technology but why live your life in fear of what somebody, even a JDB, "might' do? debtorshusband
Here's the technique I use.Let's say I sign all my legal documents "Debtor S. Husband".I sign the DV letters to CA's as "Debtor Husband".If they ever try to cut and paste the signature, I'll be able to prove it.DH
