SFGiantsfan
I hear there's no such thing as a dumb question, BUT - this may be a first:If I want to dispute different accounts/negative items on my credit report, will I put them all in the same letter? Or should I send out separate letters for different accounts?
ShortBus
This is a very common question. I'd recommend that you search the forums a bit to learn more. Most people recommend doing them all at once because it's easier/faster (and cheaper if you're paying for CMRRR). I recommend doing one at a time at least until you get comfortable with the process. Focusing on one TL at a time, in my experience, is safer and more effective. The shotgun approach can reawaken sleeping giants with unfortunate consequences.
jetscarbie
Different strokes, for different folks. Some jump right in and some do things slowly.I disputed all my personal information first...like old jobs, old address, wrong names, etc....I waited to 30 or so days and they sent me the updated CR...then I disputed the very very old trade lines or any debt that was with scummy JDB's. I didn't mess with any tradelines that SOL was within 1 year of being up. AND I didn't mess with Capital One. (which had a pretty high balance owed...and 8 months left for SOL.
