Morganna
Have you tried to dispute it? You may be successful in getting it removed which would be even better!

Bigwoodystyl
If I ask the CRA to update the Satisfied date to 2008 does the aging start from the Satisfied date or from the date filed? FCRA Sec. 605 (a)(2)Civil suits, civil judgments, and records of arrest that from date of entry, antedate the report by more than seven years or until the governing statute of limitations has expired, whichever is the longer period. What would be the best ways to dispute it? It's from medical bills. Dispute it by mail. Write a letter, saying to the extent, "I recently reviewed my credit report and I notice a discrepancy. Please investigate the following account: [Judgment, Case#] I don't believe the account is being reported completely and accurately, nor do I believe it is even my account."
