I have been a member of this board for awhile. I started in 2004 and repaired a bit. Divorce and other problems have brought me back. I have been rereading and not doing any actions , for about 4 months now. I belong to privacyguard, and all of the big three for credit alerts and the abilitly to pull my reports for those 4 months. I waited unitl yesterday to pull my free credit reports to start my journey. And lo and behold TU has an account that is on there that says that it has been reporting since 2007. I have never seen this entry and I pulled a TU credit report every week, along with the others since the last 4 months. I'm starting my initial credit report disputes today. My question is do I tell them to delete that entry right away and send a couple of copies of the reports I have saved on them? Since this free credit report is showing it, and the report i have from this week, prior to pulling that isn't showing it?

I pulled a report from TU on 11/13 and have been pulling them just about weekly since July. I pulled my free credit reports from annual credit report on 11/17. And on 11/17 that is the first time I have ever seen it. And the TL is stating that it has been open since 10/2006 and updated on 03/2007. As I stated I have never seen this tl before yesterday. If I'm pulling directly from TU weekly, and directly from TU on the yearly free credit report...something just doesn't seem right.

You have to read the fine print on the web site you're using to pull TU reports weekly...even if it is TU's. Chances are the term and conditions have a paragraph in there somewhere that says, in effect "...this site is not intended to conform to the requirements of the FCRA regarding accuracy...".

Obviously, I can't gurantee that your weekly reports were incomplete...I'm just pointing out that the daily/weekly pull sites are scams...and not always accurate.

The real question is...is this your account?
