Hell Everyone.

New guy here, I have been watching the site for a little bit and now I have a question if anyone can help me out.

I have a small medical collection on my CR that I did not know was there until a few months ago (August) this is what I did.

1. Disputed with the CRA

-it came back verified

2. Disputed with the Collection agency asked for validation (September)

-They never responded

3. Disputed with the OC (September)

-They never responded

4. Disputed again with the collection agency (October)

-Again no response

I pulled my credit report and the collection agency never updated it as "Consumer disputes" or "Disputed". What should I do next? Did they violate the FCRA by not reporting the account disputed?

Since I did not know it was on my CR it was way past the 30 days to send a dispute letter, does that go against me?

Thanks Every one!

So there is a 30 day period that you have to dispute a debt but it is unlikely that the CA has any proof that they gave you written notice. The best thing to do is send the DV and point out in the DV letter that you did not know of this debt until you received your credit report.
