scj09
I am looking for the most current address to mail a dispute to Experian. There are a few different addresses for them on this site. Not sure which one is correct.Cannot find one for disputes on their website and there is nothing listed on my current report that I ordered online through their site. Is online really the only way? Thanks

Eloise
My son just disputed with them yesterday over the phone if that helps. He filled out the online form and then made an additional phone call.
gundar.twinklefluffy
My son just disputed with them yesterday over the phone if that helps. He filled out the online form and then made an additional phone call.I was under the impression from everything I read that doing it through the USPS with cerfified return receipt requested mails was the best way to dispute. Has there been a development that makes it no longer the case?
Bigwoodystyl
Send it to their North American headquarters:Experian505 City Parkway West Orange, CA 92868I wouldn't do that. It's not the proper channel. Send to:ExperianPO Box 9701Allen, TX 75013You can also call 800-509-8495 (but you'll need a report# from within the last 60 days)
Chapel Hill
Certified mail, return receipt, include two local utility bills, copy of ssn and dl. Be direct and clear in what you're disputing. Give em 30 days. Step into them if they don't give you what you want.

rocko
Disputing on the phone works fine for personal information. They will remove name variations, phone numbers, and employee information using there automated service. They will remove addresses so long as they are not connected to a tradeline. You must check the number associated with each address against the tradelines. They will notify you by E-mail in about 24 hours. I recently removed all of the above with no problem.
Ms_Nomer
All of my own attempts at disputes via phone with CBs have been as quick, useful and rewarding as tech questions called in to cablevision... Do it in writing, don't waste time via "ma bell.'
