How long after creditor request to remove a listing

I 623'd a junk debt buyer and they sent a response to me saying that they were sending a request to the cra's to delete the account they had listed.

My question is how long does it normally take for the item to drop off after the creditor has requested that they remove it? Is there a particular time that it should take?

30 days at most but actually when I receive a letter like that, they come off a couple days later.
