NeverQuit
Looking for which Fla.R.Civ.P under the 1.900 series best applies for clerk issuance for pro se for affiant to appear, produce resume and employment record. Also, I would assume through discovery, OC's counsel will not give me affiant's work address in order to properly have subpoena sent while he is a work. Affiant claims to be authorized agent of OC. Obviously I can't have subpoena issued at the OC's law firm (I assumed). Bottom line, I want resume and employment record ahead of time and have affiant show up (probably will not).I need advice so when I approach Clerk of Court for their action to issue subpoena's, I will not be shown the door. KentWA
Most of this is just served on the Plaintiff's lawyer. The employer is the one that will have the employment records as well as the resume submitted at time of hiring. Having them appear is normally through a Notice To Appear, again which is typically sent to opposing attorney.
FlaLawyer
Are you being sued by the OC? If so, if you are trying to get information on an OC's employee then just send a request for production.

FlaLawyer
My guess is that you go to the clerk and they sign your subpeona. Attorneys are allowed to sign their own subpeonas as officers of the court, so I have never had to get one from the clerk.
