jcreek99 10
I have a CC well past the SOL. A JDB has now listed it on my credit report even though their DV back to me showed it was past SOL. Is there a way to stop this reporting or do I have to live with it each time the debt gets sold? Devildawgjj 14
Is there a way to stop this reporting or do I have to live with it each time the debt gets sold?Unfortunately, you have to live with it.....Small inconvenience for not paying them off. I just sent a JDB a FOAD letter and 1-2 punched them. It was recently deleted after 4yrs of "NOT" trying to collect, but reporting it.You will have to be pro-active in monitoring your report just to see if any more are sold.Good Luck! GH0104 10
Past the SOL for suing. Reporting has not passed yetAh, I see. Then you do have to live with it for several more years yet, unless you're willing to get aggressive with them.

Chapel Hill 47
If the CRAs after conducting their investigation continue to report this alleged debt you might want to sue each of the CRAs which report the debt. Your research of the local court database will give you all the information you need to file and win this kind of action.

SOL is different from the amount of time they can report
