What did they tell your parents? How many times are they calling, what are they saying, and are they calling before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.?

Per the FDCPA, they can call third parties ONCE, to obtain location information. If they call more than once, that's a violation of the law. If they disclosed to your parents that they are a debt collector, or that you owe money, that is also a violation of the law.

Talk to a lawyer. Find one using www.naca.net. They may offer a free consultation, or at least talk with you on the phone for a bit. If you have a strong case, they may take it on contingency, because if you win an FDCPA case, the other side must pay your attorney's fees. So the attorney gets paid, you get awarded up to $1000, without any out-of-pocket expenses to you.

Good luck.
